The AWAKE u3a tenpin bowling group which meets on Friday morning has joined forces with the bowlers from Cottingham u3a to ensure that, despite occasional low numbers of bowlers for both groups, the sessions can continue. We play at The Superbowl on the lowest level of Princes Quay Shopping Centre, now starting at 10.15 to allow bus passengers to use their passes after 9.30.
We only bowl during school term times and two games cost £7. Shoe hire is free, although most of us use our own flat-soled shoes or trainers.
You don’t need to bowl every week, just turn up and we will be delighted to see you whenever you can make it. We look forward to seeing you all to enjoy some good bowling. David Newman
