This group meets from 2.00pm to 4.00pm, on the first Thursday of each month, at St Lukes Church Hall. We have had several Stately Home presentations, usually followed by a visit. We also have an annual 4 day holiday together in July.

We finally had our visit to Fairfax House at the beginning of April, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Our tour guide was excellent; it makes all the difference when you have somebody taking you round who knows about and clearly loves the House they work in.

We have a speaker in May, talking about conservation in a country house and this will be followed hopefully by a trip to Brodsworth in June.

July sees our Summer Trip 6th – 9th but we also have our usual meeting before we go, to preview where we’re going to visit. This is usually enjoyed by people who aren’t going on the trip as well.

For new members, this is a trip we do every year (for the past 9 years) and is thoroughly enjoyed by all who have been on any of our journeys. We use Aklam's coaches and are picked up/dropped off outside Sainsbury's at Willerby Square. Over the four days we visit 4 stately homes and places of interest.
